Guess what everyone? I'm told that I have an application in my hands for a helper!
As I can think of no way to fairly judge who is, and who isn't, qualified to help out in the technical support board, I've come to the following arbitrary decision:
If my helper can correctly solve and help 2 separate cases in each category (Connection issues / Gameplay / Computer) then he'll be qualified to take up a position here in the Tech support board.
They will be threads of my choosing and therefore designated beforehand.
To this end, I ask those of you posting in the technical support board to please NOT post your ideas on a problem UNLESS you are the OP. This will remain in effect until I have decided whether or not my applicant is qualified.

I dunno... you think 1 or more helpers would be at least specialized on a certain technical aspect be a lot organized?

It is my opinion that tech support should ideally be well rounded in their knowledge of the workings of WC3 and PC/MAC systems. However, if we need to accept applicants based on specialization, I'll determine that on a case-by-case basis.
