I see... but the question still remains. What is the stat cap? There should be a button here to flag this thread to an admin or someone that knows more about the map.

The reason why extremely high stats are bad for maps like this.
Having like 99% armor reduction (due to high agi) on heroes makes battles into a slapping contest with no real winner (which is probably on other reason why people opt to choose agi heroes, specifically the blademaster or demon hunter types)

Yes the duels in HvH (which happen every 5 mins or something) have a timer that two people (the two with the most kills) duel for a certain ammount of time. In early game one hero overpowers the other by a stupid ammount due to random items etc. In late game the damage reduction is normally 99% (I have seen it hit 100% O.o) and the agility hit insane amounts like 10k (I haven't played in a while) So you end up with two heros doing a million hits a second with 100% damage reduction for 5 mins straight and no-one wins the duel...
Now imagine if the other hero was a boss in tbr... 10 mins of hitting something with no real effect.
I'm all for high stats but balance is easier with lower stats.

I find it pointless due to:
1. Long fights which would make the game dull like everyone has said
2. It would be extremely difficult to find the hackers that are horrible at calculating stats and also would encourage people to hack.
3. When you've obtained high stats there wouldn't be need of much of a team or other people to play with (besides one to meet the game req.). The TBR community would fall to pieces or easily crippled due to lack of social games and interacting.

max stats would just be another way for people to find a glitch. Besides, if you have a str hero with say 20k str, then your to strong for hyp, i mean you wouldn't even get your gem, its all just to stupid

hmm 20k str=400k hp=imba tank. but str wont give dam to "str heroes" in 2.0 so u'd only have like 50-100 dam (depending on your agi). u'd be indestructibel but u wont kill jack sh*t due to lack of dam, which in any case: u wont get your gem because u'll be like a little bit of dust trying to kill a T-rex or something like that.
so we agree that unlimited stats ruins the game right? i think the current 3.5k stats are good because i think that the buff classes (ranger, GoN, TG etc.) will have trouble keeping up.
