I have trouble believing that adding alcohol to a potion would make it heal more. If anything, it should cause liver damage since booze and medicine don't mix.

Yeah beer should have negative status. Not useful at all only for fun. Make the char move somewhere stupid and perhaps change model.

Yeah but why would a drunk hero be better than a sober hero? +atk spd or evade doesn't make sense. This could end up as one of those jokes on lowbies. "Drink this and you'll become awesome"

"Drink this and you'll become awesome" Evade when drunk CAN make sense if you factor in things like drunken brawler but that's more japanese than greek imho.

Ever tried to hit a drunk man? Sometimes you don't even need to touch them and they fall over. Drunken kung-fu is not practiced while they are actually drunk. I still don't see why alcohol in TBR would be of any use other than the humour factor.

We went off topic a while ago. I stick by my point that beer in game shouldn't make you any better at fighting anything. Would be fun to make you worse.

Here's my idea for alcohol use in the game: 1st there should be a wide range of drinks from beer to strong spirits 2nd drinking shoulden't cause any skill or stats penaltys 3rd drinking should be a skill like crafting u start with beer from lv 1 and finish with 120% A at lv 200 - when u get drunk the screen should wable like in uther party (it always puts a smile on my face ;D) the duration should vary from seconds to minutes depending on how much you had to drink - if you exceed your curent lv by 4 lvls you fall unconscious and u wake up near the hay staks and lose a random ammount of crafting mats and gold (nobody likes to lose items). Example: you are lv 10 and you drink till you get lv 14 when you get lv 14 u go unconscious. You have to wait till the drunken haze (woballing screen) passes and then start over. - there should be NPCs in town that u can challenge to a drinking contest and depending on your lv if u win you get usefull rewards - I suggest a PvP drinking contest where u can bet on gold crafting mat. and items the highest lv wins winner takes all. If lvls equal then there will be a random winner. When in a contest the on-screen menu will appear and give you the option to quit or go on after each drink this is to prevent going unconscious when you lose.(last man standing ) - when you reach lv 200 you will get the Drunken Brawler skill that gives 10% evaison and 5% 2.0 crt strike Note this are drinking skill levels not character levels Waiting for your comments hope you like my idea sorry for the bad english.
